In Greenland they have several different exports that are high demands in other countries and import items that you would never know that they needed. The top five exports of this country are crustaceans, non-fillet frozen fish, processed crustaceans, fish fillets and processed fish. Crustaceans alone make about an average of $236,589,908 a year. Following that is non-fillet frozen fish with $200,888,999, processed crustaceans at $150,688,548, fish fillets make $62,974,611.94, and processed fish with $13,941,270 a year. There are several other food produces that Greenland exports and their total country trade is $702 million. Greenland’s main exports are Denmark, Japan, Norway, and Germany. As well, there income is solely based off food rather then clothing, oil and technology.
As goes for imports, they have some interesting needs for their country. The top five imports are refined petroleum, aircraft parts, other furniture, packaged medicaments, and interchangeable tool parts. Refined petroleum would be turned into types of oil, gasoline, kerosene and serial other types of fuels to power engines. Bathroom and kitchen furniture would be categorized under other furniture. In addition, packaged medicaments would be considered as medicine. All of these imports create a $886 million in their trade. Greenland gets these imports from Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway and China.
